About me
CAPTURING THE DANCE BETWEEN FOOD AND LIGHT

From my dad's stories of fresh mangoes and wild toucans in South America, to my mom's sweet memories of decadent Mennonite cream puffs. Growing up in a mixed race family, food was always about more than just consumption. It stood as a connection and a bind. After graduating my Creative Photography diploma at Mohawk College, I found myself with a strong, artistic skillset...Just at the beginning of a pandemic. Though it couldn't have been less ideal, it became a new opportunity to find my way back. Back to my roots. After starting my own sweet food blog, and producing it's content. The magic reignited. Flour sifting through the air, butter sizzling in the sauce pan and the vibrant pop of aromatic herbs and spices. I found a story, the same one I was brought up with and the one that remains a constant joy. Food has a story, and capturing it is a dance.
